One of our most frequently asked questions is - what can we do to help?

You have taken the first step by visiting this site - it is designed to take you on a journey to help you to learn about conservation. Many young people write to us to tell us about what they have been doing to support wildlife and the environment. We have received lots of great examples that we look forward to sharing with you. Here are just three that you can do now at home or at school:

* Planting native trees - to provide homes and a food source for wildlife - it also improves air quality for everybody!

* Creating worm farms - to reduce the amount of waste that goes into landfill

* Participating in community-based environmental initiatives (for example, Plant a Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful Week)
